Linear alkylbenzene sulfonic acid (96%) - core active agent for high-efficiency dishwashing liquid
Targeted characteristics:
LABSA 96 is specially designed for dishwashing liquid formulation optimization. Its linear structure (C10-C13) exhibits rapid penetration and stripping capabilities for grease and dirt at room temperature. The strong acid matrix (pH 1-2) gives it excellent pre-neutralization process adaptability, reacting with NaOH/KOH to generate highly active LAS sodium/potassium salt, significantly improving low-temperature (5-25°C) decontamination performance.
Advantages of LABSA in dishwashing liquid:
1. Grease emulsification core: It can accurately destroy the molecular chains of animal and plant oils on tableware, and the emulsification efficiency is 40%+ higher than that of the branched structure, solving the problem of residual oil film;
2. Foam dynamics optimization: LABSA forms a stable and dense foam layer after neutralization with other chemicals through a reasonable formula, which has both continuous dirt carrying and easy washing properties to avoid foam residue;
3. Hard water adaptability: LABSA can chelate calcium and magnesium ions up to 150 ppm, ensuring that the cleaning power does not decay under high hardness water quality;
4. Cost efficiency: LABSA 96% high concentration can reduce the addition of other solvents, reduce the viscosity of the formula, and make it easier to achieve concentrated production.
Other application directions:
▶ Concentrated dishwashing liquid: as the main surfactant, the dosage is reduced by 30% to maintain the same detergency;
▶ Low-temperature dishwashing agent: enhance the decomposition efficiency of solidified grease in cold water environment (≤10℃);
▶ Environmentally friendly formula carrier: compounded with sodium citrate and glucoside to build a phosphorus-free formula system;
▶ Automatic dishwasher liquid: low foaming characteristics are suitable for the spray system to prevent foam overflow failure.
Process precautions:
Need to neutralize to pH 5-7 at 40-50℃ to avoid local over-alkalinity leading to sulfonation. The recommended addition amount is 8-15%, and compounding with amine oxide can reduce irritation.
